The City of Helsinki is piloting a modular mobile app for citizens that connects to various open APIs and services. The first MVP of the service will allow sending service requests to the city , for example about broken parts of city infrastructure like street signs, potholes, etc. Service requests are fed through Open311 API and their status and answers by city employees are displayed on a map in the app.
